What's a Kroner?
Well we arrived in Copenhagen yesterday afternoon, after travelling on a train which drove onto a huge ferry in order to cross the ocean.. pretty crazy stuff. But now we are having problems with the currency.
You see the Danish dont have the Euro, they have the Danish Kroner, which is confusing us a bit, and, we realise that everything here in Denmark is very, very expensive.
For example last night we walked around Copenhagen and decided to go into a bar for a drink. Little did we know that it would literally be ONE drink that we'd be getting, as 2 beers and a glass of chardonay cost 160 kroner, which is about $35-$40.
But then again these prices might only be representative of Copenhagen, which is good for us because as we couldn't find any more accomodation, we will be travelling back across the country today to a little old villiage called Ribe.
And then after that its Sweden. Then Norway. Then down to Berlin to visit Luke.
