What? a TV?
Well over the weekend saw the arrival of Dave and Meels (or Meals or however im gonna spell it), and also Tegan and her friend Julia. So there was a grand total of 8 people staying in the tiny abode.
So then Friday night came and arrived and we all went to Fabric (a club) for the big 21st celebration!!!
But for some reason, the club was crap. None of us seemed to be having a good time. (was it something in the food??) Anyways, I think we had enough of super loud mid-range noise and stupid MC's yelling stuff into a microphone, and a DJ who would rewind every second track and double drop wobble tunes on each other.
Are we getting to old for this music scene do you ask? Or is it just me?
Hmm...
Nah, I think its just these really big clubs that dont seem to live up to expectation. They cost too much to get in, and then drinks are too expensive, and together with the overcrowding it just doesnt make it fun anymore.
In other news,
Dave (dirty dave, ie. david graham, chris's mate) and Meels went and bought a TV Yesterday!!
WOOO!! - theres now no reason to leave the house! Neighbours! Home and Away! Yay!
And quite possibly the greatest ever British show...
"Cash in the attic"
-daytime television at its best people.
Some people come round to your house and go through all your old stuff, then, they take what they reckon they can sell to an auction house and sell it!! Gripping on-the-edge-of-your-seat Drama!!
no not really.
Oh, and i finally got my contract from the employer.
And I dont start work till 9th December.
Yeah i know, i thought that ill be starting in novemeber but they've obviously been playing with me. So, its a matter of waiting untill december. Grrr.
Now, you have to help me decide what to do next..
Accomodation is provided with the job, but, they also offer you a packet of EXTRAS.
For 110 pound a week, (yes 110 pound is about 260 aussie dollars), they will provide me with:
-Food whilst im not working (im guessing i get fed on the job)
-Ski lift pass
-Snowboard/ski hire
-medical insurance
-laundry facilities
Now, 110 pound seems a bit steep to me. and over 18 weeks that makes 1980 pounds!!
instead im thinking of buying a season lift pass (468 pounds), and possibly buying a snowboard over there...
what does everyone think?

Just don't go paying cash in the attic at my house!

G'day champion.
Keep up the sudko, will keep your brain working while you back pack around Europe.
So when you planning to come back to sunny sydney?
Ross
Hey Glenny, if you have travel insurance that will cover you snowboarding for the next few months then dont take the deal, but otherwise, full travel insurance can be really expensive if its covering snowboarding, so i'd check the price of travel insurance, then think about what you will be wanting to eat while you're there, then think about the deal.
or come back to australia. i have 10 tickets to the 20/20. i have 4 in the walters stand and 6 in row f in bay 18. and i want to go 'tenting' on the beach with you and whoever else likes tents. confirming that is tenting, not camping. tenting involves taking tents in the water and whatever else you might do with a tent. leisure lounges just get too many holes.
Hi Glenno,
My thoughts are maybe take the deal since I'm sure your tax refund is almost gone, so you won't have money to pay up front for a lift pass or snowboard and your travel insurance will have run out. Are they flying you there or do you have to pay that? Do you get paid enough to save up for a return ticket to Aus/ticket to wherever you're going next? Can you get some work for a month somewhere nearby? (Do I sound like your mother or what?)
Let us know what you're doing, love and kisses,
Mum OOXX
Grandma says hi and thanks for the card. What have you done about your flight?
Let me guess. You got the T-shirt at... CAMDEN MARKETS???
Luke
