You cant see Paris in a day...

So it took us guys 2.

But travelling with those boys is like the complete opposite to travelling with Dave and Tegan.. (hope you guys are travelling well and having a good time..)

The boys (pete, alex, nath and andrew sparkes, and smithy, dont plan anything (ie accomodation) go out every nite, and spend way too much money on drinking. (and cause way too much trouble)

Where as with dave and tegan we actually planned where we were going and tried to spend as little as possible.

As a result i think i have spent way too much money in this last week.

As a result I decided to split from those guys and come to luxemburg.

And luxemburg is really mind blowing. The land is a mixture of steep hills, large stone walls, huge arched stone bridges, a river running through the whole lot and various old style buildings everywhere.
I was actually more impressed in the five minute walk this morning (i only got here last nite), than the whole last two days in Paris...

So the end point is Im back to travelling on me own again, and im now in Luxemburg.
The next stop is undecided, but switzerland sounds nice..

Ill try to post more frequently.. (for mums sake. xox)

Later guys.

Camping land Munich!

Camping's been kinda fun, although its been really hot here lately which means you cook in your tent in the early morning.

When we arrived there were hundreds of Aussies camping, the camping grounds were so full it was hard to find some free grass to pitch a tent. Some English guys in the tent next to me called it Mordor.

But nearly all the Aussies have moved on now, and the camp site is rather bare. We have been too lazy to follow the packs of people to Stuttgart.

Internet time is expensive here so I should be doing things like trying to find out where they'll be showing the Aussie game tonite...

Bye all!

Meine flasche bier ist leer.. (My beer bottle is empty)

Well Berlin will be coming to and end today as we are headed down to Munich tonite..

Its been great here though, just been chilling out at Luke and Mels's place doing not much at all.

I've bought a tent and other camping gear, and no, it wasn't for camping at Luke's house Sara, it's gonna be for Munich (Accomodation there is either expensive or booked up.)

So I'll be in the city somewhere for the game tomorrow, probably watching on a big screen or standing outside the stadium hoping that someone will have some spare tickets! (yeah right).

Camping will sure be an adventure, I've had to offload some more clothes with luke in order to fit my tent into my backpack!! -But hey, now I'm really gonna be living cheap.

I hope all of you back home stay up for the game tomorrow, the Aussies need you!! Woo!!

ich bin in Berlin

Well, I've got quite a bit to cover don't I..

2nd - 4th June
OSLO, Norway;

The weather was really nice, 25 degrees, sunny, quite not what we expected for Norway. We stayed in a place where the dorm room was just a big hall with matresses on the floor.

..And there were lots of scouts..

..and Dave was defending the harbour against pirates..

5th - 6th June
Geilo, Norway;

Geilo (pronounced Yay-low) is on the famous Olso - bergen railway, away from everything and up in the hills somewhere.

As there was not much to do I rented a bike and rode around the country side..

7th - 9th June
Flam, Norway.

Flam, (pronounced flom), is just amazing..

10th - 11th june
Bergen, Norway..

Then we arrived in Bergen.

There's a bank in norway called "DnB NOR" (see the building in the background?) We reckon it's the Drum and Bass headquarters.

On the 11th of June Dave checked his email and found that he'd been issued 3 tickets for the Aus - Japan match the next day.. Which was very very very annoying as we had about 27 hours to try to get to Kaiserslatern in Germany.
There was no way to get there by train and the cheapest plane tickets we could find were close to $1000 each. So we couldn't go :(

The most annoying part was that there was no way to cancel the tickets, and they'd been automatically paid for. So there would have been 3 more empty seats in the stadium that we could do nothing about. The ticketing organisation is so stupid to be able to allocate tickets with such short notice..

Oh well.

12th June, Olso.
Then we caught a night train back to Olso...

And some people slept in a park...

Before getting another night train, and eventually arriving at Luke's place in Berlin.
Woo!!

Now I have to go buy a tent.

-(The rest of the page is just some inane banter from either Matt or Spicer).

Oslo, Norway

Went out last night cause we were "going for a drink somewhere"...

And then Dave and Tegan surprise me with a Drum and Bass club, and who should be playing that night but DJ Flight!! And it was free!! ..

Woot!
Big ups!!

(yet beers were ridiculously expensive)

Stockholm part2

Well it was kinda annoying having to change hostels in Stockholm, more annoying that the other place was on the other side of town, out in the middle of no-where. (now who booked that?)

But yesterday decided to be a fine and sunny day which meant I could go and be touristy again.

Went to the Vasamuseum, which contains a very large ship/boat, which was one of the biggest of its kind when it was made, unfortunatly it sunk minutes into its maiden voyage.

Went to another place, where they have old traditional swedish houses and stuff, I guess you could say Its like Old Sydney town, except in stockholm, and they have scandanavian animals as well.

Now im in Norway and I'm hungry, so its dinner time..
